Hi, guys 👋🏾 My name is Brianna but I go by Bri. Welcome to my Blog

I possess a strong sense of empathy and understanding towards others. This means that I have the ability to deeply connect with and comprehend the emotions, experiences, and perspectives of those around me. My empathetic nature allows me to intuitively grasp the feelings and needs of others, and I strive to create a safe and supportive environment for people to express themselves.

Therapy involves a collaborative process where the therapist provides a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Through active listening, empathy, and guidance, therapists help clients gain insight into their problems, identify patterns, and develop strategies to address them.

Interpersonal relationships refer to the social connections and interactions that individuals have with others. These relationships can be characterized by various factors such as emotional closeness, mutual trust, shared interests, and effective communication. Interpersonal relationships can occur in various contexts, including friendships, romantic partnerships, family relationships, and professional interactions. They play a significant role in shaping an individual’s well-being, as they provide support, companionship, and a sense of belonging.

Come on in, take an emotional load off and feel your feelings

  • What could you do less of?

I could use less of people who lack empathy. People whose emotional intelligence doesn’t go behind themselves. These people can only think far as themselves & the world don’t need people like that.

  • What invoked my healing?

Healing is a process of restoring and regaining well-being, whether it be physical, emotional, mental, or spiritual. It involves addressing imbalances or disruptions within the body, mind, or spirit to promote healing and return to a state of wholeness.

In this deeply personal story, I found myself facing immense pain as the people I love turned against me. They used belittlement, gaslighting, and manipulation tactics to undermine my self-worth and make me question my own sanity. I was constantly subjected to being talked down to, creating a toxic environment where I was made to feel like the source of all problems. As I navigated this challenging situation, I came to realize that these individuals were projecting their own insecurities onto me. Through this painful experience, I learned the invaluable lesson that I can only control my own feelings and begin to prioritize my own emotional well-being.

    The story:

Once upon a time, in a small town, there lived a young individual named Alex. Alex was a kind-hearted and compassionate person who always saw the good in others. However, Alex’s life took a turn when they encountered a person named Emily.

Emily was charming and charismatic, and she quickly became a significant presence in Alex’s life. At first, their friendship seemed like a fairytale. Emily showered Alex with attention, affection, and compliments, making them feel special and loved. But little did Alex know that Emily had a hidden agenda.

As time went on, Emily began to manipulate Alex emotionally. She would use guilt, fear, and manipulation tactics to control Alex’s actions and emotions. She would make Alex believe that they were the cause of all their problems and that they needed Emily to survive.

Alex, being a kind-hearted and empathetic person, fell into the trap of emotional dependency. They became reliant on Emily for their happiness and well-being, constantly seeking validation and approval from her. This emotional dependency caused extreme anxiety for Alex, as they lived in constant fear of doing or saying something that would upset Emily.

Emily knew exactly how to exploit Alex’s fears and insecurities. She would threaten to leave or abandon Alex whenever they didn’t comply with her demands. This fear of abandonment created a constant state of emotional withdrawal for Alex, as they would do anything to avoid losing Emily’s love and approval.

Years went by, and Alex’s mental and emotional health deteriorated. They became isolated from friends and family, as Emily convinced them that they were the only person who truly cared. Alex’s self-esteem plummeted, and they began to doubt their own worth and capabilities.

But deep down, a small spark of resilience remained within Alex. They started to question the toxic dynamics of their relationship with Emily. They reached out for support and sought therapy to help them navigate the emotional turmoil they had endured for years.

With the help of therapy and a strong support system, Alex slowly began to regain their sense of self-worth and independence. They learned to set boundaries and recognize the signs of emotional manipulation. It was a long and challenging journey, but Alex was determined to break free from the chains of emotional manipulation.

Finally, one day, Alex found the strength to confront Emily and end the toxic relationship. It was a difficult decision, but it was necessary for their own well-being. Alex realized that they deserved love and respect, free from manipulation and fear.

In the aftermath of their separation, Alex focused on healing and rebuilding their life. They surrounded themselves with positive influences and engaged in activities that brought them joy and fulfillment. Slowly but surely, Alex’s anxiety diminished, and they regained their sense of self-confidence.

The story of Alex serves as a reminder that no one deserves to be emotionally manipulated or controlled. It is essential to recognize the signs of manipulation and seek help when needed. With resilience and support, it is possible to break free from toxic relationships and reclaim one’s happiness and emotional well-being.
